GULG - as you've tried them on a bike do you think they're worth fitting to the ten?
i'm thinking of wiring them independantly of high beam so i can leave the dip beam on and have all areas lit up.

Hi guys, Can you let me know if any one has actually fitted these Ring Automotive lamps.If so please let me know wiring details.
Have installed a pair my self and ******ed if I get them to work.Have used additional Ring wiring kit .which includes fuse cons and relay etc.
If any one can advise,would be most grateful.

Ah, yes, the wiring kit you get with these isn't much use to be honest. Are these the lamps ?

on the relay, You need to ensure that;

Pin 30 is connected to the Battery +ve
Pin 85 is connected to the Battery -ve
Pin 86 is connected to the switch then the feeder current (brake light switch or headlight wire)
Pin 87 is the load, or in this case the White wire on the driving lamps.

The -ve cable from the battery needs to connect to the relay and to the black wires on the lamps.

I have 1 custom loom (switch, relay, fuse, instructions) for this left, 24.99 on Ebay or 20 on here. But it sounds as though you are not to far away from getting it sorted. check your connections are right.

It will help if you have access to a multimeter, or even just a couple of wire and a bulb.

you can see the bracket and wires in my 1st picture. I also used the halfords wiring kit and I modified it to use the 4way fusebox

That's the way to do it Zou. The only difference is that i connected all of the power in terminals in the fuse holder together and just have one input wire. I go with the silicone sealant as well. I have located my fuse box in the small place normally used for the toolkit, secure and just the right size. The four outputs are more than adequate for my needs, ie one for heated grips, one for a cigarette lighter output up front (GPS and compressor) and two underneath the seat for heated jacket and a spare. Cheap simple and robust. I also made up a small lead which has one terminal for the negative battery but four outputs with connectors on each end, this makes taking off any extra outputs very easy.

Great minds think alike, suspect that's why you have a TEN as well!:Gangsta2_9BI664:

I usually link negative directly to the frame, it saves on additional length of wire running back to the battery

In my 1st picture above you can see the (-) of the light being connected directly to the bracket iself (blue connector)
