Official workshop manual XT660Z Tenere

Hey, y'all! I visited my dealer today, to pay the service(10.000km's) and fitting of several Touratech parts(looks good; the small rack fitted well, although longer bolts were needed in combination with the H&B pannier rack). They picked up my bike and bring it back for free, as the roads are slippery and iced and SALTED. Pics will coming shortly.

I asked the chief mechanic of the workshop for an official Yamaha workshop manual(which they have on fiche) copy and also one of the parts catalogue of the XT660Z Tenere and he'll make a copy of both of them. I'll get them shortly. What'll I do: send 'em pm to you Capt Moto or to Kev? Let me know, I think it will be useful for all Z-owners.

By the way, I let them check the rear wheel transmission dampers(after reading about this here) and they replaced them under guarantee, so thanx for the info on that! Greetz, Hans.

P.s.: @Taffy2: the handguards are off now, I'll send them to you asap and let you know about the postage.

Hey, y'all! Got the Service Manual and the Parts Catalogue of the XT660Z Tenere today and I'll send them to Kev, so he can include them in the manual download section.
Service Manual: 25,2mb in English;
Parts Catalogue: 1,47mb in English.

Also got the Owner's Manual, but that one's in Dutch. That one's not as important, I guess, because every owner got one with the delivery of the bike(actually I got four: French-English-German-Spanish, so now I also have one in Dutch!).

Greetz, Hans.

tenere doug 17-01-09 15:10

Nice one, Dallas! I'll look forward to getting my hands on a copy of that! :smilies0948:

dallas 18-01-09 07:21

I've just uploaded the files to Kev, so they'll be available shortly on this site/forum. Very useful if you do maintenance yourself or have to order parts. I had those too for my XT600E and XT500 and if I needed parts, I e-mailed them to my dealer and mostly they arrived the next day(they have night-over delivery service, 'cause they're Exclusive Dealership). Glad to be of help, greetz, Hans.

Kev 18-01-09 08:04

Thanks Hans for your help, manuals all uploaded & working.

I have already read most of the service manual, as most of it is the same as the XTX & R.

We will soon upload it to a faster server & post a download link.

Stinky Pete 17-04-09 14:25

Have'nt yet upgraded to supporter - There is a lot of differences between the abs and non abs versions.

Do you have the ABS version available or "just" the 2008 yamaha service manual xt660z tenere ?

the venturer 26-09-18 15:11

Hi rider friends. I own a 2016 tnr xtza and i need a fully detailed repair manual. Could any of you seed the link?
