I prefer to now EXACTLY how much i'm speeding - and the easiest way to do that is just to fit a GPS.
Yes you can fiddle with a SpeedoHealer or fit a bicycle computer but you can get a Garmin Edge 20 for less than €100 - That won't give you backlighting or fixed power but an accurate speed and a log of where you have been.
For that you get a cheap second Garmin GPSmap60 or similar for less than €50 - And then you can even use it for navigation .... (I still use my GPSmap60 from around 2007 but only on bicycles since i got the zumo with my current ride)
