How did you find us?

This question has been asked before but seen as we are quite a big number now, we would like to learn in which way you have found the forum. Please answer as many of the choices as it applies to you.
Thanks

My first visit was ages ago, probably around the time I bought my bike [Sept 05] and I found it via a search engine. It looked a hell of alot different then, don't think it had a forum just parts list, pix etc.

Came back after buying my manual from the Capt'n.

Google search for 'XTX Forum' about a week before I picked her up... I was getting so excited and the dealers were fannyin' on with the day I could pick it up. It seemed as soon as I'd signed on the dotted line I was seeing them everywhere and didn't have mine to join in the fun with :icon_bounce:

Now I'm seeking counciling for a forum addiction :tear:

Storm 16-02-07 10:04

Fran will tell you the full story, but this is XT660.com MkII... We have only existed in this format for about 8 or 9 months now - 1800 members in such a short time!

The hardest thing for us is getting people to come out on the rideouts... for some reason, a lot of people would rather stay at home than ride their bikes!!!

Davey Boy 28-02-07 22:56

Denny 28-02-07 23:47

I found out when watching a clip on utube, think it was FM's ccc clip :077:

strange how nobody has heard of this site through a dealer, when this site is officially recognised by yamaha(isnt it?)

CaptMoto 28-02-07 23:54

Yamaha UK only so far and Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_XT_660 has a link on us too but as far as worldwide is concerned I don't expect every dealer to be aware of our existence as yet.

But you all can help that by printing our flyers and stick them up in your local dealership.

The flyer is here http://xt660.com/showthread.php?t=56...ht=forum+flyer

Denny 01-03-07 17:04

I'd like to distribute some flyers but the link above needs a password, can you stick the flyer straight on here?

CaptMoto 01-03-07 17:18

I don't think it needs a password, but I will atach it here again as an attachment...

Denny 01-03-07 23:06

Cheers captn, I'll print some out but that really needs some jazzing up

CaptMoto 01-03-07 23:18

Who's a clever boy, huh? :smilies0225: Gotta love free advertising.... hahaha

J_maker 06-08-07 22:47

I was actually looking for XTX reviews though the net just a few days before I visit my Yamaha dealer. So after finding the forum it was like a "one way ticket" ...once you join, there's no turning back!!! Remember the blue pill and the red pill on MATRIX? well, something like this:smilies0349:

bikemadmarty 13-10-08 23:52

How did i hear about this site

I was recommended to this site when i called the Carbon Can Company to ask about cans for my lovely XT!

CaptMoto 14-10-08 00:07

That's very nice of Simon...

Did he not tell you about another xt forum called www.yam-xt.com/forum ??

You have not lived till you see it... ( ;) )

maxwell123455 14-10-08 10:19

I must have missed this poll, i was looking for a forum through google as i knew there would be something out there in virtual world that would be as good as my old Honda Deauville forum.

But this betters it has more people, and nutters :hooters:

steveD 14-10-08 10:58

I was searching for info on the new Tenere and came across the site. I'm afraid it's become a bit of an addiction now and here's me trying to make cut backs!
