Spotted one in Crondall Nr Farnham

Only had one for a few days and I pass another XTX also in Grey in a Titchy village called Crondall near Farnham ( Friday 27/7 @ 18:20 ish ).

Sorry I didn't stop mate, but was on a mission to get as many country lane bends in as possible before my tea ended up in the bin.

ManicMic 29-07-07 19:06

Spotted a red XTX with Arrow cans (I think) that came into Box Hill car park at 3:45 pm today and did one lap of the car park and then left.

Who were ya? The tea at Box Hill aint that bad (if that's the reason you shot off).

kiwi_uk 30-07-07 18:15

Spotted XTX Grey with standard cans and you were wearing black helmet at approximately 0830 this morning heading towards Aldgate allong A11.

No forum stickers :(

Hopefully you saw the stickers on my bike and if you're not here already we'll be seeing ya soon.

Black XTX in the 'Western' Pub carpark at the top of Boxhill on Saturday afternoon.... I nearly binned it on the corner trying to get a good look. Also a VERY shiny blue XTX at the Audi/VW/dealership (?) garage on the corner of York Road and Lombard Road Friday night about 1820. Rider had a white Arai Tour X and a shirt and Tie???

CaptMoto 06-08-07 12:36

Yeah but I saw a young man yesterday at the Ace Cafe doing stunts on a brand new XTX in black with original cans and everything as standard, he was doing standing wheelies, rolling burnouts the lot, when I spoke to him (he is either brazilian or portugues) he never knew about the forum so I gave him the details and he registered last night (his nickname is rodolfobikes, he is a courier, maybe with the XT?) so we shall hear soon from him :D

Top man!

I must really make an effort to stop and meet these guys from time to time. You know how it is though, when the wheels are rollin and the tarmacs hot...

zambezi 11-08-07 12:30

I have spotted a few XTs on the A3 recently. A black XTX with the rider all dressed in black, right down to the visor (seen a few times). Yesterday morning there was an '07 orange XTX at about 7.20am heading towards town. He was going quite slowly so I guess he is still running it in? I was on the blue DL650 that flew past.

midlife crisis 24-08-07 09:41

Lovely black XTR this morning (Friday 24th Aug) first in Knightsbridge and then he caught up with me again on Picadilly, we said hello and all I can say is he looked about as happy to be on his XT as I did on mine (I can feel the sunshine trying to break through) :048:

Was this you? C'mon, say hello, introduce yourself (and get yourself on the list for Monday's ride if you haven't already) :112:

bebbs 24-08-07 11:36

My old black XTX on an 06 plate, Palace Street, Victoria, London. It looks like a courier has it now.

midlife crisis 29-08-07 12:43

Saw loads of 'em last Monday, especially around the Rye area :laughing7:

Richard W 30-08-07 21:51

Blue XTX Plate LJ05 with a top box rack tonight at 17:40.

Pulled up behind you on East India Dock Road, got in front of you at the approach to the Blackwall Tunnel. We both got stuck behind a wreck with paniers. You whizzed past in the tunnel then let me through when I went filtering. I was on the Blue R1.

CaptMoto 30-08-07 21:58

If it had a pair of twin pot Carbon Cans half blue / half steel it could have been Marcus (tedibair) as in the pic below

Richard W 31-08-07 10:04

Nope, not him. Similar rack but standard pipes and deffo L J were the first 2 letters. Rider also wore trainers (brown I think).....

FostersMonster 02-09-07 22:45

Saw a guy on a Blue XTX on Saturday 9th, he had some sort of 2 into 1 exhaust system didnt get to see it much but did it sound nice:077: . Spotted in Carryduff petrol station in Norn Iron. Was wearing a multi coloured arai helmet which was also very nice.

ManicMic 09-09-07 19:59

Saw a blue XTX on Brighton sea front today. I was going to take a picture but I thought it was an example of how not to look after an XTX. It was the mingiest piece of junk I have ever set my eyes on. If you are the owner and you read this then you should be shot.

CaptMoto 09-09-07 21:07

what was wrong with it?

ManicMic 09-09-07 22:01

Oil all over the engine, really rusty down pipes, seat was supposed to be blue but had really faded and was white in some bits and ripped, looked like it had never been cleaned, front wheel hugger snapped off and it had been down the road on it's side as the standard cans were scratched to death.

To be honest I felt like a blue XTX had been violated and I didn't want to look at it for long. It made me feel sick.

Put it this way Guv, I know your not into the polishing lark but your's is a minter compaired to that thing.

Sorry Steve but whenever I am in central London is because I am rushing to get to a board meeting in our St. James's Square h/q, and I am always 30 mins late.

But have a look at your bike when you leave the NCP car park today ;) :eusa_whistle:

ManicMic 10-09-07 18:37

Hahaha, now that he's gone (probably rushing to check his bike) I can reveal to you all that all I did was to leave him a hand written note on a piece of paper saying "Hi Steve :) fancy seeing your bike here, see you soon, Fran"
