I made my own Crashbungs :)
I bought some TEFLON bar 35mm and used the lathe at work to make my own crashbungs! The material was initially white, but I painted it a gray base coating and later a glossy black. Here are the results :080: http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...r/DSC00091.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...r/DSC00092.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...r/DSC00208.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...r/DSC00209.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...r/DSC00211.jpg ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON TO NICK'S ONES (HE IS A REAL PRO, AND THOSE ARE JUST PERFECT) I JUST THOUGHT OF MAKING MY OWN :112: |
Looks good to me - have you thought if the teflon might make good chain rollers? :smilies0943:

Great stuff George, are you going into production? :102:
I also read somewhere of someone using Skate board wheels, I know they come in all sort of colours and finishes. :Lollypop_2G1DR4: |

thanks for the kind comments my good friends!
Colin, Nick's crashbungs are among the official forum items, (I can't even compete his marvellous work) :notworthy: ...plus I was lucky enough NOT to get caught at work while doing those :unibrow:.. so..... not production plans for this one :binkybaby: |
Awesome!
