Clocks and ecu
 

What role do the clocks play with the ecu/keys etc. I'm thinking of putting a rallye-raid fairing on and putting light weight enduro-style speedo on instead. will the bike still run - what if I leave the clocks on and damage them in a fall - can I replace them ?
