Sorry to hear about the panniers that seems crap when they cost so much.
As for the HID I have found a conversion kit in the uk for just shy of 100,(the ones from SA work out about 65 but when you factor in the costs of getting them to the UK its not worth the bother) its too much for me at the mo so I am going to try a brighter bulb from halfords and see if it improves things in the short term. |
Just found this kit
http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=616 at 65 all in it seems pretty good anyone any ideas if the XTZ will power this kind of stuff without any problems I am also fitting a socket for heated clothing ?

Hi to all.
This is my first post and thought this could help. What i did was put in a diod between the dim and the bright positive wires, so that when the dimm is on then the diod would not allow the current to flow to the bright, but when the bright is on ( dim switches off ) the power can flow to the dimm as we'll resulting in both lights on. Hope this could help in you regard, Ps i love riding at night. |
Gents..it's not the power of the buld that is at fault here.
No matter what power buld you put in it wonlt work all that wel. The Tenere lens is pants and the light sprerad is very poor. The only real way to fix this is extra spot lamps. Mike |
