It's interesting reading, but the brakes probably don't lock up because they feel so spongy! I'll stick with trusting my right hand... it's worked for the last 27 years of riding. :slywink:

My feelings exactly, I could not help but think the same, but I have been proved wrong by the Thecies before so wondered what there take on it would be. :glasses1:

Like yourself I have taken a bit of time to get used to the XTX not having a front brake that you can stop with with a couple of fingers. Takes a whole set of fingers and I have not felt any inclination that it would ever lockup. :bounce016:
