Guys just washed the bike after the visit to the Ace yesterday and my rear tyre is totally knackered now

Anyhoo just a quick question to ask forum members the best place to get some Avon Distanzia's as i fancy giving them a spin..

There is a shortage at the moment so you need to start ringing around all Avon Suppliers from this list and try your luck at who's got some:

Well i have rang every tyre dealers I can think of and on the Capt list ( using the works phone of course )

Anyway I now had found that the Avon's are in Shergar's stable next to a pile of rocking horse sh*t.

So what do people recommend other than the Avons ?

So... you couldn't find any or are you saying they are sh|t?

He's saying that he couldn't find any. My recommendation is Continentals...ContiForce SM if I remember correctly. My last 3 rears have been them & I luv 'em :notworthy:

Look at my link in the wheels & tyres section. A company in Germany still had a few sets in last week. I bought a rear, had it sent over and fitted for not much more than i would have paid in the UK.

Hi fozzer ,i mean this in a nice way but your tyres are so crap any set of tyres will be a big improvement.Avons if you can wait or Dunlop mutants are my choice

i got mine very cheap,part deal with service of XT and guzzi Cash payment .Get a quote off national tyres that will mean fitted to loose wheels then go to local shops and see if they will match price but fitted to bike,cash payment .Just ask and be friendly there are deals to be had.All the best
