Avon Distanzia's

Arghhhh!!!!!!! Nightmare! I'm a long term abuser of Distanzia's and since my first set I've never even wanted to try any other tire. I leave for a week-long tour of Ireland next week and need new boots but everywhere seems to be out of my trusty AD's :icon_pale:

Worse case scenario and I have to have something else, what's the next closest thing to stick on yer rims?

(I'm crossing my fingers that they can get a set in for me this week and I'll just have a mad dash to fit 'em before I set off for Fishguard).

Pirelli MT somefink!! can't remember xacly or Maxxis GoldSpeed Intermediates.

But do try to give Essential Rubber a bell cause they told me they were going to get hold of a couple of sets next week.

BT45s

Sorry, but not sure which bike your riding the x or r. I ride an r and wanted something more road-focussed for a tour of Scotland. Fitted pair of BT45s and they are really good - obviously if you have the x well you have heaps of choice - I was restricted by my 21 inch front wheel. Have fun in Ireland - been there many times by bike myself.

Regards,
Tomo

Yeah, probably shoulda mentioned I'm on an X.

I hear an Irish mile can be a tad slower than a UK one, is this true?
