Bi-Xenon Headlight

Finaly done it!
Converted my headlight into a Bi-Xenon one with both low (dipped) and high (main) beam lighting in Xenon.
Can't wait to try it out tonight! :blob7:

what brand and wattage bulb did you get, pal?

skorzeny 09-07-08 19:49

I got a Pilot Bi-Xenon conversion kit with a 10.000K bulb (nearest to blue , 12.000k is purple)

after some minor difficulties it was quite easy to install...

CaptMoto 09-07-08 22:08

cool, when you're done show us some pics! :confused2:

skorzeny 09-07-08 23:47

Will do!

I'm finished already and it works, have to do some adjustments ofcourse so that my fellow road users don't get run of the road :laughing7:
Will post some pictures as soon as i get the chance, probably friday...

Good move fitting brighter bulbage.

The standard set up doesn't exactly set the world on fire.

Is that blue road legal?

Kev 10-07-08 12:23

Photos of the installation please.:blob1:

skorzeny 12-07-08 00:27

Well,here in holland it's legal! :) only the 12.000k purple isn't...

Have made some pictures but it's really difficult because the xenon blinds the camera...

here they are, will try to make some at night and see if it works out better.

one thing's for sure, you get noticed a lot sooner on the road!

I think this sunday will take everything apart again and make some step by step pictures for anyone who wants to see. It's mostly plug and play except for some viling :p

Wanted to do this mod for a while now but couldn't find anything on our forum so went ahead and tryed it myself...
