Warranty Claim Update
 

As you are all aware the engine paint is terrible on these bikes ,so i waited untill the last day of warranty to do mine
Well put the bike into the local dealers a few weeks back where he took photos and sent the claim off ,phone call today with good and bad news ,Yamaha are prepared to do the work (replace side cases and paint the engine ) ONLY the painters that the dealer uses WONT guarantee the work for 6 months ,so i am stuck trying to find someone that will ,i have contacted another dealer quite local but he is just fobbing me off and saying he has'nt the time to deal with it .
I will be ringing Yamaha customer services direct tomorrow and will keep you up to date ,fingers crossed it gets sorted soon

Hope all goes well. I didnt even get that far with mine, i was told the bike was bought on the 25th of June by the dealer and it had 2 years warrenty from then, and cause ive been at uni ive had no time to think about warrenty claims. Looked at the book today guess when it ended. May 25th:Mandy:.

Ah well life goes on and all that. Means now i can say the only reason its dirty is not cause im too lazy to wash it but to hide all the corrosion.:042:
