The grips are Renthal dual grips - they are almore a perfect match to the seat colour. The are a lot grippier than the stock almost plastic ones.

Note for others reading this - make sure when you use grip glue on the throttle side that you ignore the intructions to put some inside the grip sleeve. I did this and when I pushed the grip on the twist assembly some of the glue got between the bars and the throttle sleeve. It dried over night and meant the throttle would not close automatically. Luckily the glue is not like superglue - grip glue is quite tacky so I could slill pull the throttle assemby off and cleaned the glue of with some turps.

All in all I think the project was a success. I did notice that some of the bolts used in the mirror assemblies are starting to round off - the next job is to replace all the crappy bolts with some stronger ones. Anyone got any suggestions which company to try for this?

Handlebar looks great in black, what you paid for it, I'm looking for something similar as I recently bended my original bar as I crashed last week.
And theres advice for everybody changing grips-I got it from a girl (???:055:) who works in motorshop where I bought my grips. There's no need to use grip glue. Use thin screwdriver to make some space beetween bar and a grip, than add some wd40 or something similar in that space and old grip comes off instantly; take a bar of an oldfashion soap and use it with water to cleand wd of the handlebar; after that use same soapbar and rub it well against dried handlebar (you can use a bit of water too), mount new grips on and let it dry for a few minutes- as soap beetween grips and handlebar dries, it hardenes and prevents grips from slipping and turning.Worked well for me :icon_smile:
