Flat Battery

Like a compleat plank i left my bike in "Park" instead of "Lock" so the lights were on and now i have a flat battery, i have tryed to bump it and after much huffing and puffing and running up and down the slight hill outside my house i have given up. can i jump start it from my car? or will that make the weels fall off or some other sort of expensive damage, if this is a no go how can i get it going with out having to shell out for a battery charger.

Most insurances provide you with roadside recovery these days, unless you are already with the RAC or AA, I'd give them a call tell them you need battery charger. Good luck
or... use jump cables connected to your car battery.

Connect jumper cables to the bike from the car.

Start the car let it run at 2000rpm for 10 min. Switch off car, start bike let it run for 10 min.

Switch off bike, remove cable & start bike.

If you do it this way you will not damage any computors or components on the bike.

I bought a battery charger/conditioner on the web for a tenner! made by a company called streetwize. It charged up my battery after I did the same thing with my parking light!
