Gonna make my 02 eliminator today/tomorrow. Not going to make the fuel mod though - i will buy a PC5 within few months.

My surging problem has went worse within last few months, cannot figure out yet, why, since i have done all necessary diagnostics, cleaned every single contact, changed spark plugs etc. My friend has a 07xtr which is pretty much stock and he rode mine, he said that sometimes it feels like my bike is not getting enough or is getting too much fuel, when suddenly accelerating from low revs. the jerkyness is sometimes annoying... it is almost cutting out sometimes in low revs, especially when coming out of curves, it feels bad when the bike does it. otherwise, at higher speeds, bike runs great.

I have:
OTR 2-in-1 complete exhaust system with db killer removed
snorkel removed
ais blocked off
rerouted engine breather
air filter is foam filter from OTR

Hey Pipz can you please let Kev know which serial number is your TPS and ask him to help you set the correct lean angle on the TPS, also have you tied to raise you idleing speed (tickover)

There are a lot of XT's out there with faulty TPS's and ECU's and I suspect by the sympthoms you descrived your bike might be one of those. As I've said please get in touch with Kev to try and eliminate causes. That might save you money in the long run, because a PC5 might not cure existing problems.

tps angle was set to 16. You did mean serial number of my ECU though?

Actually we need to know first what is the code on your TPS too, A2 or A1, then also your ECU serial number but first of all need to understand which TPS you have. thanks
