Yes that was mee:yahoo:. Just so everyone knows what i am planning on doing.

The front tyre is getting near done but will last a bit longer, i have to order some off road tyres yet for my wales trip in march, but these are going to be from the looks of prices, cost, avaiablity conti TKC80's. I am gonna put those on for the trip, came back take them off and replace the front with one of these Avon ones and soon after i am sure the rear will need changed as well so will change to one of those avon jobbys 2.

Cheers for the link thats not too bad for a set of road tyres, dont like the sound of the postage thou. 12 is a bit steep totaling 107 + what ever it costs to fit, balance etc.

Seems from the X Distancias as if fitted costs are about 170 - if you buy the above it leaves over 60 for fitting etc.

Well at the moment my last rear tyre cost around 85 i think cant remember got a puncture so was more worried about getting tyre on and back on bike again. So say the front is 10 cheaper as they are normally slightly cheaper that is 75 + 85 for tyre + fitment= 160 for my calcs and prices so still not bad. But normally costs around 15-20 per tyre to fit so would only just be making a better deal. But a saving is still a saving.

Might have to look into this business more.

Cheers again
