Kev Spacer Kit has arrived
Just received Kev's spacer set in the post and I am going to have them fitted sometime next week. They are brilliantly shaped from what looks like a billet of alloy and they are very very light in weight. here is a pic

Mine turned up today as well.
Gotta say thanks again Kev. Extremely well presented with idiot proof instructions on a cd. Nice! |
They are so gorgeous, I am not sure wether to fit them or....
wear them.... Prince Albert anyone? :rofl[1]: |
Great news. I ordered 6 sets when I placed my order for you guys. When I arrived at the shop they were still making them & I took the ready made 4 sets. Last night I collected the remaining 2 sets.
If anyone wants a set I have 2 sets up for grabs send me a PM before the weekend. AUD$35.00 + postage. I will be sticking them on Ebay this weekend to get my money back. |
Mine arrived yesterday - wife on phone when I called her then but spoke this afternoon.
Thanks for quick service Kev - not sure how soon I can fit them - the wife arrives Sunday night - I've the CCC stubbies to fit, the 14 front sprocket (and the filters and second pot from afk40 if they arrive) as well as the spacers. I fly back to UK next weekend so they may have to wait until October when I'm back here. :signthankspin: |
4 sent 4 arrived, good news.

Whilst my bike was being repaired I managed to get them to fit the spacers for me so that they will be on by the time I collected it today. I must say WOW, what a great difference they make! I have noticed immediately that the front end is a lot and I mean A LOT more responsive in the rebound and also while cornering.
I had no way of confirming this before but now that they are fitted I can only reccomend this mod to any of you who wants to put a bit more life back in your fork since with the absence of a rebound adjustment once the springs are "tired" you either end up spending a lot of money on a new set of springs or at a fraction of the cost you can get a Kev Spacer mod to improve your sus and steering. Go for it!! |
Thanks for the feed back.

I've had mine on for a while now and can also say they are a must. I use a twisty, bumpy road on the way to work and having the spacers fitted really does reduce the wobble when cornering on the bumps. They make the bike feel much more lively in a way and no more wollowing.
I also find when riding at night that the light doesn't dip so much when I hit the brakes and I can still see where I'm going which is a rather good plus point I reckon. Definately a good mod Kev. Nice! |
