Advice on valuation, 2008 Tenere

Wondering if you I could get some input on the value of my bike in a private sale? Not looking of 'offers', just some input on what to be looking for it I put it up for sale.

It's a 2008 Tenere with 13,700 miles on the clock. It has a high screen, centre stand, side panniers (Yamaha), high screen, bark busters. No MOT or road tax (passed last MOT and has been SORN pretty much since - backed up by mileage data). It's in perfectly fine (but not 'showroom') condition.

Any advice appreciated.

I know it sounds a bit weird but what colour is it?

It's white. Was hoping to put a photo or link in to a photo, but that proved beyond me :/

I asked Lloyds Honda what they'd offer for mine (2008), Ant suggested he might be able to get around 1500 from a trader, that was against an AT.

I've still got the Tenere.....

That was last spring.

The thing is, the right person, looking for a particular bike will pay more than someone looking for the best/most they can get for their money. It's a fickle game selling your bike.

With that relatively low mileage for an 11 year old bike it should fetch a good price, and those sensible extras are another bonus. I'd guess 2800-3000 come this Easter.

I sold an almost Standard one 2 springs ago,2009 with 50k miles for 2200.

Thanks, that's really interesting and helpful. I have looked about a bit (eBay, trader, etc) and come to the conclusion that I might be asking just over 3,000 and seeing what happens with haggling, etc. As pointed out, it's unusually low mileage.

I did (mostly out of curiosity) ask a trade in price for a Africa last year. The valuation they gave isn't worth repeating :0

Really appreciate the comments.
