Lowering links

Hi, I am considering fitting the lowering links/dog bones to my XTZ but will this effect the operation of the centre stand, which is a must have when touring.
Any advice or experience welcome.
Thanks Ian

They aren't a good combination, especially with additional rear luggage weight lowering slightly further, but you could carry a small bit of wood and ride the rear wheel onto it to regain the lost height.
Your side stand would also need shortened as it will not allow enough side lean, exaggerated again by luggage weight.

My own bike was lowered when I bought it, and the previous boy commented on some main stand grounding issues when loaded , especially with a passenger.
