Do I really need a PCV ?

G'day.
Ive just received a Kev O2 controller, stage 1 2 & 3 DNA filters incl airbox cover. Bikes already got Kev fuel mod plus MTC single can.
Do I now really NEED a PCV, or is it just a good idea to maximise the above gear ?
Do I risk damaging the motor running it all with just the fuel mod and O2 controller ?
Thanks for your help. Geoff.

AFAIK Kevs gear will do NO damage to your bike in the short, medium or long term...they WILL allow the bike to run smoother and imho allow it to run as it arguably should have when it came out of the factory. They allow a generic set of parameters across the range(s)..
PCV allows a bespoke map to be 'made' for your bike..or you can download a map from here that is close to your bikes mods and see how it feels.
Personally I was happy with similar mods to yours BUT couldnt resist a PCV when it came up on ebay at the right price.

I do quite fancy getting a PCV but in the meantime just want to be sure i won't damage anything running everything incl the DNA's etc with just the fuel mod. I'm unable to download any maps now or join as a supporter due to this site closing down. Maybe theres a way around this ?
The stage 3 DNA airbox filter is supplied with a range of maps on a disc so maybe these will be ok.

Presumably you're an XT supporter ? I'm not, and unable to become one now. Its been closed off because the site is closing down. I have tried.
