Pipe between headers?
 

Whats the small pipe coming out of the engine between the header pipes?i heard what sounded like the exhaust blowing and found this pipe has a rust hole in it.there are blue flames passing thru it.

I have looked on my R and have to say i dont know what your on about,sorry. Unless your talking about the link pipes under the engine?..Maybe posting a picture will help ...

Cant seem to post a photo.if you look at where the headers are attached to the head,there is a small chrome S shaped pipe heading upwards in to some sort of black box

Is it pipe number 2, that is attached to the ASIS system?

Yes,thats the one.looks like a ****** to get at.
