Tube Trouble

Hi There, I got my first XT660Z just last weekend - hooray !!! Very excited.
Bought it privately for not a lot of money as I knew it had done a few cruel Ks in the Northern Territories and would need a bit of fixing up.
Got it back home and stripped it down - "shock horror" the front tubes are bent. (about 12 mm off true)
Any one have any experience or suggestions.:help:
Only a minor setback - still excited!!!

you mean the chrome stanchions of the front forks are bent?
if so, you can replace those, for not too much money.

Yeah the chrome stanchion tubes are bent. If they had a nice slow bend in them I would consider straightening them, but they have a small kink in both of them just below the lower yoke.
I have decided the replace the stanchions - can get them from the Europe for about $250 - $300 each.

Thanks for that.
I have been looking on Wemoto.com.au and thinking of buying the stanchions and a load of other bits from them.
I need a new front rim if any one has any suggestions.
