Interchangeable

So, simple qeustion, with a more difficult answer i'm guessing.

Which wheels are interchangeable to fit the XT660R.

If i want to buy a set offroad wheels, do i need to get Yamaha specific, or can i use a other brand of wheel?
Would the Honda XL600 wheels fit for example?

The R is an enduro bike ...buy R wheels and stick the tyres you want on them..

If it's been achieved it will be within the searchable pages on this forum. You have to remember people, who've completed tasks on their XT's, often reported their findings, results and successes / or not, here, but are not members anymore and available to answer your (or anyone's specific), question since those members have bought a different bike, 'X' years ago, and moved on.

No,what I am saying is that if you want to do some off road riding then as the R is an 'enduro' bike either fit knobblies or buy some more R wheels and fit knobblies to them..leaving you with two sets of wheels,..one for road based work(I can recommend Avon Trailriders) the other for off road .

So far the search function has really helped me with any of my qeustions.
Might be using the wrong terms/words.

Still thinking about changing the headlight, full part.
Changing the spokes.
Changing the tail, getting a more smooth/naked tail.

So much that runs through my head, for which to search the answers xD
