replacing the OEM horn
HAs anyone replaced their horn for a louder one without having to modify the wiring or add a relay??
|
Yep. I put a Transit one on. Plug and play as they say and its a lot noisier!:nike:

Yep, i put on a Stebel TM80/1. Just plug and pray.

I have fitted this one. It is louder than the standard one. |
I think stebel TM80/1 will be the one. checked the OEM horn shows 105dB & 3A
TM80 is 109db with similar current draw. It is slightly bigger so I have to check to make sure there is enough space & clearance. Don't want it to vibrate & bounce against the yoke or the rad! Thanks for your inputs guys |
I switched the OEM one with a
Denali SoundBomb Mini
Specifications: Sound Output: 113 dB at 3 feet Current Draw: 5 Amp Dimensions: 3.25"(82mm) x 3.4"(86mm) x 2.5"(63mm) Works fine, is a little bigger so the clutch cable kinda rubs on it but other than that its ok. |
