Lifting XT660X front for bearing check?

As the title says, How is it possible to lift the xtx's front up to check the bearings and or take it appart to lube it up? Is it safe to life the bike by the exhaust at the bottom, or do I need to remove it/them? :105:

Sorry this was asked last week..and answered ..

I use a rear paddock stand, car trolley jack and a piece of wood.

Place the trolley jack towards the front of the engine and place the wood across both exhaust pipes.

Jack the bike up till it tips back and the rear wheel is on the ground and leave the jack in place.

I have used this method twice,on this bike and had no problems.
