I don't see the problem concerning bikes. Loud exhausts (non standrad ones) are a nuisance to me. It is up to the tester to judge and they don't normally fail unless it is very loud.


For diesels, it cannot be tough engouh. Is it the case of too little, too late?

I have always maintained diesel is a dirty engine and chancellor brown should be ashamed of himself for giving diesel cars a huge financial incentive. In fact I am a firm believer that 95% of all those who bought them did it to save on RLF and could not care less about the evironment.


Now they are winging and want compensation from the government. Outrageous.
