xt660x 2005 model side stand help
My xt was lowered by the previous owner which included a shorter side stand to match. I have now raised the bike back up to its sta dare height but with the shorter side stand it's leaning to far left.
What I need to know is can somebody tell me the length of the original standard side stand. I need to replace the shorter one. |

Same size as R I believe..just measured mine 32cm |

For me, that issue would be an excuse to get the welder out and make an adjustable one with a sliding tube as an outer sleeve and then have a pin and R-pin arrangement to pass through two or three holes in the stand leg, a bit like an adjustable hospital crutch. But the above ebay item is way less hassle.

When measuring where are people measuring from. Bottom of stand to the top or bottom to centre of the top bolt |
I measured from the base of the footplate to the actual top(doomed part)
you not bought the ebay one? |
