Nice Steve, Just checking mine over before getting out and about. Only rode it home last backend and stuck it in the garage so first trip next bout of decent weather. Round the Dales probably.
You have the trek-rider tyres on if my memory serves me? How do you rate them dry and wet against your previous tyres, and what were they.

Cheers Spocket. ...it's great to be out on the bike! . I'm very happy with the Trekrider's, my previous tyres were Avon Distanzia's, a tyre I had 100% confidence in ...especially in the wet. The natural successor to the Distanzia's is the Trailrider ( about which I only hear good things ) but I wanted to try the Trekrider's as they should be better off road. So far so good. ..a great all round tyre with better wear rates than the Distanzia's. Cheers Steve

.....me too Steve \o/

Was yesterday on a tour through the Alps with a colleague orange one - i enjoyed relaxed riding between 2'500 and 4'500/5'000 rpms meanwhile my colleague on his KTM let the machine shouting out after all curves....

In the meantime the XT660Z is getting my everyday-Bike instead of the old XT600Z where i was longtime thinking no machine will beat it.

Good, save and happy rides on- and offroad.

cheers, Andy

I have to admit I really like it in that blue, makes me think maybe I made the wrong choice 😓 still loving mine after a few years too.
