When was this VIN produced?

When was the bike with this VIN produced: ZD0DM021000008444?

Thanks.

I couldn't find out when my bike is produced - nobody else?

I believe the letter Z is the manufacturing year which is 2010 , hope this helps .

Thanks a lot. However, I realised that the under seat plate says 'Made in Italy'. Does that undoubtedly make it a 2009? Was production relocated to Spain early 2010, or before the end of 2009?

Thanks again.

According to Motorcyclespareparts.eu:
- Model year (not necessarily production year): 2009
- Product Code: 010
- Model Type Code: 11D2

- They don't know the range of the VIN's last five digits for bikes that was produced in 2009.
- They don't know what month production was relocated to Spain (late 2009 or early 2010).

Nobody here with a clue? :Tosser:

Production was moved to Spain in early 2010, March if I recall?

I know for a fact VIN ending 9421 was first registered on 01/09/2009, so yours is definitely an Italian built MY2009 bike assembled some time before September that year.

FYI - the first two characters are the region code ZA to ZR refers to Italy. VS to VW are the Spain region codes and VF to VR are for the French bikes.

No worries mate. I would have answered your query earlier, but I've been laid up for a while!
