Seaside Tenere
On holiday in Devon and Cornwall. We got incredibly incredibly lucky with the weather.
Had 28 degrees 3 days running, Daisy the tenere wasnt too happy with sitting in traffic in that heat. Had 109 degrees C on my trailtech temp gauge a few times. The fan soon kept that in check though. Heres a few piccies. Cheers Steve, it sure is pretty down here.
And yep all done by yours truly. |
sTRANGE ASK but WHATS THE HELMET LIKE?..
|
Its great. Ive had it 2 and a half years now and its got around 26,000 miles on it. Its on its second set of pads inside. Around 45 to replace the whole interior.
Pros.... It vents better than any helmet ive ever had before. Great in the summer. It truly is the best visor ive ever used. Very rarley steams up and ive ridden it in every weather imaginable. Looks (in my opinion) awsome. Quiet. The spoiler on rhe top really stabalises the helmet at speed. Keep my head steady on the motorway. Cons. Its fairly heavy. Even with all vents closed it can get chilly in sub zero temps. People always call me masterchief (from halo games haha) |
Looks good..what is it?..

We need too arrange for me too come visit you on the flatlands 😂 |
Glad to hear it's going well and you are really enjoying it, it certainly gets some use with you, I love seeing it with the trailer on.
I'm just doing tyres etc on mine so brought the old zx7r out of hibernation but missing the querks and laughs of the xt already, though it's nice to have the silly power again, even for a while. But I know what you mean about keeping it, I don't know what I'd change it to, the super tenere just doesn't float my boat. If you ever find your way up here you'll definitely have to let me know and arrange a mini meet |
