Temporary forum for the Dales Meet

Chaps,

Here we have a temporary forum for all things Dales. Please feel free to ask questions as you like.

Keep the 'Sign Up' thread clear of chit chat as this makes it easy for people to find and put their names down.

Set sat nav to DENT centre there are only about a dozen houses, you can't go wrong really.

The easiest way is from the south m6 junction 34,35.or 36. head for Kirby Lonsdale go down the hill to the river there is an old bridge with a large layby usually full of bikers (great refreshments ) follow the country lane past the layby for approx. 2 miles on the right soon after some houses is a country lane sign posted either dent or barbon it is on a small rise in the road on a slight left hand bend . (there are a couple of lanes you can take but they all meet at a small crossroads near a small church where it is signposted dent. follow the single track lane passing by some trees uphill and you should be in a spectacular narrow valley with a stream running down it follow this lane to the end, at the tee junction turn right signposted dent. drive thro the centre of dent over the bridge and the campsite is somewhere along this lane very near the village.
