hi guys,
If there's one place in Europe that sun is more than happy to shine all day... hehe.. this is GREECE! So, such a wonderful Sunday yesterday for a good ride with a good XT friend.
So, me and my mate Kostas (he has an XT500) decided to go for a rather..fast and very refreshing ride around mount Pelion in Volos, Greece.
The whole route was full of curves, forests all around, medium to low traffic, great weather and much energy to spend on my right hand :080: !!!
So, the ride soon turned to a very fast test drive (at last I had 1200 km -around 700 miles- on the clock... so I could ride it like XTmate "Xterror" who rides his 07 XTX "like it was stolen"!!! --way to go Xterror :whip2: !!!!--
So, I have to say a couple o' things here.
I LOVE MY XTX!!!!! Great torque, good response and easy handling, but most of all.. amazing breaks. God bless Brembo! Finally, tires worked very well -no surprises- , lots of gear changes and NO CUT OUTS AT ALL!!! Fuelling works great on the 07's. Motor was running wild and NO fuel surprise at all!
(Mind that I have a stock XTX.. no modifications at all, so those who want to buy a new one should keep this review in mind.)

Anyway, a great ride. Can't wait to do it again with more friends.

Really glad to hear that the surging problem seems to be resolved on the '07. I have heard this from some other sources aswell. I'm planning on getting an xtx '07 and the surging problems has holded me back abit(and the fact that I don't have a license yet, but I'm working on that part at the moment :) )

Just mind to keep your brain in your head (when you buy your XTX) in order to keep your licence and your record clean. The bike is like a gorgeous babe. Never underestimate her:eusa_naughty: , she will put you behind bars before you know it!!

Good news. Hope to pick my xtx up tomorrow. Have waited 2 weeks for the belly pan (motorguard), it's in a box in Amsterdam. The bke has been sat in the dealers!!! So sod it, I aint wainting any longer. Will be putting a review together as soon as played with my new toy.
