Do I keep my new Tenere?

Hi all,
Just bought a 2010 ten with 19k miles on it. I come from a background of custom bikes and old twin racers. Ive had a few trail bikes and Mx and trials bikes over the years but have been hankering after an ADV bike for a while.
Its bloody ace!! I absolutely love it and instantly felt at home. I put my hand in my pocket straight away for a new exhaust, tyres etc and intend to focus on performance mods to get that little more punch.
The question is....Should I keep it?
I already feel like im in this for the long haul but Im on the cusp of throwing a load of money at it already. Should I sell it and get back what I paid? then... invest a bit more and buy a low miler before I start fully speccing it up.
Two considerations, how long will it last me with that kind of miles (assuming ill be hitting 10-15k per year) and will it be worth nothing once its up to, say 50k miles, if I want to upgrade then?

IF you paid a good price and you have service history then i wouldnt be too worried about the miles.

I've heard of people getting as much as 100k KM from a well looked after Tenere before having to rebuild the engine.

I've got 85k miles on mine. Still runs fine. Has never used much oil between changes but I just had to top up quite a bit last week but it is due a change.

all good to here..
i paid, i think, a good price but bar the first two major services it has been self serviced by the previous owner...
just had a look around though and 5k ish mile bikes are fetching high prices!

Mine's a keeper. I bought it in 2013 for 6000 new.
I've possibly spend nearly 3000 on bits and pieces, extras, farkles, gadgets, it never stops.

That's the appeal of the ten, infinitely customisable, easy to do yourself and it will never let you down.

60,000 miles later and no sign of burning oil. Valves clearance fine, no wear, no rust.
