Fat foot and sidestand play

http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...psgfod7fxc.jpg Fitted this nifty 'fat foot' from Rugged Roads. Well made and certainly gives a fat foot to the sidestand. I noticed that when the sidestand is retracted it has a fair bit of slop on it... is this normal or is something worn...? Steve

I changed my sidestand yesterday. It also has a fair bit of slop on it when the spring is not attached. Also the new shorter stand has the same amount of play. I think it is normal.
