I also have a 606 on the front and have done a few on/off road trips with it. On one trip a friend had a Pirelli MT21 on his KTM 990 and our tyres compared favorably.
Initially I was a bit sceptical coming from a TKC80 in the front which was quite good (but almost twice the price of the 606), but as I got more confidence with the 606 on paved surfaces I think it is a very good value for money tyre and it hasn't let me down at all. On dry tarmac one can about scrape the foot pegs and it behaves very neutral and predictive. Off road it shines.
Some say that the 606 doesn't last that long, but I on my bike it seems to wear almost the same as my previous TKC80.
I'm sure you're going to enjoy them!

The cyclone has fizzled out to a tropical low. Watching the news 500 odd k's north where it hit it has made a mess as it hung around in more or less the same spot for about 24 hours. Food & water was running low but the army is probably up there now helping out as I type. Its just still raining where I am more to come tomorrow then should start clearing up a bit.
