Thank you Pleiades for the fantastic help. I finally managed to get some time to have a look. The fuel was in an awful state and had varnished the tank. I ran the diags as you said and the pump was seized. Ive washed out the tank the best I can and so now need a fuel pump. So if you have any ideas where to get one I would appreciate any info. Thanks for the help.

have you considered running a bottle of redex and a small amount of fresh petrol though the system?.
