Ace Cafe on the 19?
 

Hi all,
after riding my new z all week I'm still grinning like a Cheshire cat. Had seen somewhere here that ace is having a day of adventure/touring,hoping that some of the members will be meeting up there on Sunday ?

Hi Craig. Bound to be quite a few. 3 of us from Hants alone. Was more than 10 last time. The question is getting there early or have a lazy Sunday morning

I'm easy but would prefer earlier rather than later otherwise I get distracted and stuck in the work shop. Look forward to getting an opinion on my new beastly,I'm sure there's some good advice and opinions to be had.
Been riding a baby varadero for so long and seen so few of the tenere on the road,would love to see a crowd of them in one spot.

Sadly I will not be going to the Ace at the weekend but, as Jacques says, there's usually a good contingent of Tenere's (of all ages and varieties) at the event - It's just a question of finding them in amongst the sea of BMWs!

Went last year and as I pulled up at hanger lane two BMW's pulled up next to me who I smiled and gave a nod to just receive a glare, great I thought, so pleased to see the other xt owners there, much friendlier bunch. Will be there again this year but might not waste a nod to the BMW owners (I know not all BMW owners are like that). Looking forward to seeing the xt's and owners.

11 XTs at Ace this morning, 1 better than last year and not counting the lovely Tenere 600, or the Aprillia with an XT engine or the 2 XT 1200s.

Fantastic morning,glad I got too meet you Jacque and put a name to the face as it were. Hope we can ride out together at some point. It's a novelty to me to think I could ride out as far as I like,could do on on a 125 but this is way better. Wish I'd managed to match owners to bikes way earlier. Like the idea of a bike that stands out amongst the others. Still got the silly grin on my face.

(Jo75 and Replicant )...over Hammersmith Bridge and then a lot of filtering along the North Circular. ..ever mindful of a million speed cameras! We headed home via Box Hill for a cuppa. ..great day! Miffed that I couldn't make it. I did the Desert Rose Stage 2 off road coarse yesterday so my body feels like I've done 5 rounds with Conor McGregor today. Looked like a good turn out, glad you all had a spiffing time.

Good turn out of xt's old and newer, nice to see some older ones still out and about
