Supertrapp

Well finally got the supertrapp fitted and wrapped the headers. Good weight saving, weighs less than 1.5kg in total, still playing with the number of discs to get it right but it's not as obnoxious as I was expecting noise level wise, could do distance no bother on it. No issues with the number plate/light hanger or the pannier when fitted.
Is a bit of popping though

The jury is probably still out on the aesthetics! ;)

Just be wary that the exhaust gases being expelled between the discs (assuming you've got a closed end cap fitted) will now be heading straight for the plastic tail piece, rear light and Givi rack. XT exhaust gases have been known to melt top cases, indicators etc. in the past with aftermarket exhausts, and that's with the gases going straight out the back. Have you considered a deflector/heat shield?

Yeah I know it's not going to be to everyones taste but I like it.

So far I've about 200 miles, most with panniers and topbox, and no issues with the gasses, tail looks free of any issues too thankfully

Looks pretty tidy Mark.
The popping will likely be the AIS.

Thanks Tom. The link pipe is a good job, maybe would have liked it a tad tighter but think that would have caused issues, and for first attempt at wrapping I'm pleased.
I have just put a bolt in that ais but haven't had a chance to take it a run yet to find out
