Coppaslip or Loctite...?

The original nuts are self-locking nuts so no Loctite required. Your new shiny nuts are not a self-locking type so Loctite would be appropriate. Red Loctite is regarded as permanent, so use either blue 243, 246 or 2422. Blue 243 is oil tolerant and does not require the same attention to detail cleaning and degreasing the threads.

Thanks Pete.....I hadn't piced up on the fact the stainless were non locking....but hopefully shouldn't have to change that sprocket too often. Steve
