Hello all from St.helens UK

A little bit about my bike

Got my 2014 xt660z in grey a few months ago, and been adding mods since

Mods so far...
Renthal bars with risers and guards
Single sided MTC exhaust with tool tube on opposite side (for the dreaded puncher)
Got a Pipper cross foam air filter to fit when I get the o2 sensor and fuel mod (they are on the way)
And a top box fitted

Things I love about the bike, how well balanced it is (for its weight), the comfy seat and relaxed riding position ,the pop from the exhaust when I let off the throttle
Im looking forward to the amount of fun I'm going to have on it

I have a couple of question if Anyone can help/give advice
1st are the o2 sensor and fuel mod tricky to fit???
2nd advice on long trips (I am doing the Stella this year)

Any help/advice is welcome

Take care all. jonny boom

No. Simples. Kev's instructions are easy to follow and if you do run into trouble (which I very much doubt) just post something here and we'll walk you through it.

Get an Air Hawk or better still, a Touratech seat. Your ar5e and back will be most thankful! The stock saddle is really only any good for short journeys.

...and throw away the stock tool kit. Make something up that actually contains tools to do the jobs you'll need to do!

Help/advice

Hi all, thank for the welcome messages

Pleiades thanks for the offer of a walk through on the sensor and fuel mod, i appreciate it fella.
I dont mind the stock seat but not had the weather to do many miles yet, that will come in the next few months, I work as an upholsterer so I have access to the high and low density foams for messing around with seat (if needs must)
The tool kit is a great shout I'll get on that this weekend get a few bits ordered in

I had no idea there where so many mods to do the xt's, going to have a good read through them later, I am defo going to get side air filter on the air box though

Thanks again for the welcome, take it easy. Jonny boom
