Hi CaptMoto.

That is not the correct part. I have been searching through the manuals and found the correct part. I have circled the broken bit in the image below.

That's a horrible thing to happen. ...but not worth that expense just to have a steering lock. A second disc lock is worth fitting . Steve

Such a pain in the backside. Roughly worked out that if I put a claim in this would cost somewhere between �1250 and �1500 plus costs for a courtesy bike. This would put it on the verge of being a write off!

Like you say its cheaper/easier to get a second lock for the front to go with the one on the rear. Oh and keep it covered.

Like CaptMoto said - at least I still have the bike. :)
