Motion pro trail tool opinions?

Does anyone have experience with the MP trail tool? Looks a nice piece of kit but I'm not convinced it's up to taking the front wheel off with the correct parts? Has anyone used one?

I think Jenny Morgan uses one on one of her CB500 Rally Raid videos. ...worth checking out. Steve

Max torque - 16nM
No, this won't do the front wheel. Or the back wheel. They require 1/2" sockets for the torque range.

The tool kit I carry is whittled down to the bare minimum, but I still wouldn't be happy just taking this one tool to do everything. Some jobs just require things that the trail tool won't handle. I like it, but the Tenere is an annoying beast when it comes to tools.

Remember that the original tool kit didn't even contain all the right tools in the first place!
The spark plug socket doesn't fit, there's no hex key for the front wheel, no socket for the rear wheel etc...

I'll dig out a photo of my tool kit soon.

Well I've brought myself one.

I'm very impressed with, but it does have limitations as previously said. packs down nice and small. add and handful of other tools for wheels and the spark plug and your done. If I put it in my kreiga tool roll with all my other tools half the roll is still empty.

A very flexible bit of kit but it has it's limits

The MP tool kit plus two aluminum levers (again MP), a Leatherman tool and the OE tool set will help with probably everything apart of engine disassembly and valve clearances.
