"Chirping" sound when moving
 

Hi Guys,

I've noticed a strange "chirping" sound when moving on my '09 xt660z - recently acquired - I'm thinking dry chain?

I'll be cleaning & lubing it asap, is there anything else I should be looking at?

Check all the usual suspects: chain, sprockets etc. and particularly the cush drive. How much rotational movement is there in the rear sprocket carrier?

turns out is was the chain - waxed and all good now..
