Dna stage 1+2 query

I have done my best to search the forum and think i know what i need ...but could someone confirm that stage one is the air filter itself and stage 2 is the open frame?....

I have answered my own question.

Two filters and a open plate that is either cosmetic or an actual mechanical fix to hold filter in place.

Prolonged senior moment over.

I await the next one..

Hi Nikroc,

After you fitted the dna 1&2 filter did you need to do some extra changes to you bike or you just replaced and ride?

Apart from both Kev's mods...it was plug and play..I already had aftermarket(Arrow) cans on

The open plate you mention is cosmetic you dont need it.

You want filters 1+2 pull the snorkel out of the top and fit Kevs mod so you can alter the fuelling to go with the extra air you are putting into the motor and of course a set of cans pointless in trying to cram as much air into the motor unless you can get it out as quick.

Ive never been a fan of fitting all the bells and whistles in one go you need to understand what each mod does be it filters/pipes/fuelling mods.

If you are in it for the long term then as I did take Kevs Fuelling mod off and fit a PC and put the extra holes in the air box the jump is as big again from stock to Kevs mods, just make sure you put the correct size holes in the air box so if you decide otherwise you can fill them with rubber grommets.
