Hello, coming from a 4 cil bike this bike seems to make alot of noise, hense why I would like your opinion on the bike. Things I would like to change; the licenseplateholder and rearlight, the rust on the Wheel spaken fix

Maybe this is a better example! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrEe...ature=youtu.be Thanks for your input! hopefully you can hear better here. I installed db killers in this video, the sound at 0:37 is the one I'm concerned about!

Doesn't sound a lot wrong with it from where I'm sitting.

Mind you, the motor isn't going to last too well if you carry on with all that hard accelerating wheelie stuff 13 seconds after rolling out the driveway on a cold engine! ;)

Or was it warmed up fully?

Yeh I just dropped of a mate, it was on operational temps, did a 50km+ drive before that :P Thanks tho for reminding me. How long would you recommend driving before going nuts? I just cant help myself sometimes hitting the gas on speedbumps hahaha The sound tho at 6:40 :O the high pitch noise, I can't justify that sound :c

:icon_salut: Thank the lord for that, you had me worried for a minute!

I have a temperature gauge fitted to mine (handy for this very reason) and generally speaking, under normal riding conditions with 15-25C ambient, it takes 10 minutes to get up to temperature and for the thermostat open.

haa, I see. That's not a bad idea. Thanks for your advice man. Appreciate it! Still dont feel 100% about the sound :c

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngPXszKwE_E here's another sample. Went to kawasaki and yamaha dealer, they both thought the xt engines were quicker then this one is right now, yamaha dealer thought it might be what you said above! the kawasaki dealer thought it might be the distribution chain or something with the clutch. What do you think that's more likely? I have ordered the gaskets etc for the clutch side so I will that that no matter what! Hope to hear from you, Bart!
