Picked up my 2007 XT660X Saturday just gone, I have wanted one since I decided to get my licence a number of years ago. I have to say I love it! It only had 6500 miles on when I picked it up and someone has been kind enough to add the Micron cans.

I went right ahead and have pulled the Snorkel, it feels like the power delivery is a lot smoother. The bike also cruises better, it felt a bit choppy (if that is the right word) with it in.

I have a lot planned for this bike, I want to make it feel a little more exciting. Two teeth up on the rear sprocket I think, along with air filter mods and a power commander.

I was disappointed to find that DNA have discontinued their stage 3 airbox. Is there anything I can do myself to achieve the same gains?

If there is anyone in the area that would like to meet up for a ride then let me know.

That is awesome! I am definitely doing this, already pricing the parts up on Ebay. Are the airboxes the same across all years?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Hopefully I can meet some of you. Looking forward to getting stuck into customising my bike. I'll keep you posted on what I am doing, when I have some spare cash money that is!
