G'Day from Australia (via South Africa!)
Took delivery of my brand spanking new Tenere yesterday - and was as nervous as hell riding it home the long way around town!
I took it for a small run today.
Wow.
This is my 4th XT after learning to ride bikes on an XT500!
Have owned a few KTM's in between them all as well as a few sports bikes.
I took forever to decide on the Ten and really wanted another KTM; even looked at the Africa Twin very seriously.
But for lots of reasons I chose the XT.
I am so impressed with it!
So smooth for a thumper!
Has enough grunt and extra power for me!
Just the right mix of electronics and gadgets too.
Still grinning after getting off it a few hours ago!
To anyone thinking about this bike, ask yourself: who needs ABS and 1000cc?
Such a pity the 600cc dual sport class has been neglected world wide (in my humble opinion!)
Looking forward to learning everything XT on this forum.
