It would have to be utterly awesome to tempt me... I love my Tenere! , also as Pepsi mentioned so much time and money invested to make it the way I like it!. It's a keeper for sure. Steve

The new model would have to be 20 to 30kg's lighter before I'd consider chopping in the steed I have now. The adventure market is growing in popularity so other makes will want some of the action which should in theory make pricing more competitive. KTM I believe have some on the way. We'll just have to wait & see. Would be nice if they did hurry up a bit now though.
I do think Suzuki had a bit of a cheek adding 'XT' to the more off road orientated V-Strom.

If this is the future of Tenere, then I'd like to have one, quite nice

It does look heavy.... guessing +185kg.

CGI concept looks like it has an alloy subframe bolted to the alloy chassis and the engine also appears to be a stressed member of the configuration. Would liked to see more of a body kit to it.

The great shame is that these crazy Brussels idiots are making the regs ever higher so many bikes will finish with Euro 6, not just the 660 singles. The VMax will die for instance, and some manufacturers do not yet know whether others will make it thro the regs!!! My new MT10 is Euro 6 and look at the flat spots in the power and torque curves, I have ordered a Power Commander just to set these right. Crazy!!!
