Tenere on Mull

Tenere on the beach of Fionnphort looking across to the Iona Abbey island, first settled by monks in 563! The second pic reminded me of South Africa where you don't fill up yourself. But get your fuel done by the owner!

Nice pic's Jaques, your Tenere has really been earning it's keep lately.

Long overdue. This year was a 2 weeker which should have been a 3 weeker in Eastern Europe. But alas always good to have more horizons to follow. Would like to do some more Welsh mountains before winter.

Hi Michael, green with envy. Alps look beautiful. I would love to do the Alps sometime. Your friends bike looks like a ship. I wonder if his petrol bill was double of yours?

Ha ha If you do Alps, say it to me. Maybe I wil do it with another tnr and the exprience of traveling with a biker from another country seems to be very good to learn the language.

For the Victory, I think too the petrol bill was bigger. But he doesn't say to me how much Ha ha ! He said to me it is a very comfortable ship.

Hi Pepsi, I did stop at Duarte Castle but sadly no pictures. We then rode through the Mull mountains and stopped at these bird watchers looking at an Eagle's nest trying to see the young ones, but with no luck. Ironically we had two sea eagles fly next to our bikes where the road is next to the sea only about 10 minutes later. Was an amazing experience and very very special. The last picture is at the Tobermory ferry, sadly leaving Mull.

Sadly not. We were starving and had a meal in a pub instead. There is a magnificent sea food restaurant at the harbour next to the ferry. Don't know how I missed it but saw the menu as we boarded. I'll have to go back sometime.

The fish and chip van is in the picture just across from the Co-Op, if you look closely. We camped just on top of the hill.
